Acceptance

By creating an account or using Fishability, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: violate laws, harass others, post illegal or harmful content, attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the service, or use the service to endanger anyone at sea.

You will not use Fishability as a sole navigation or safety system. Refer to the Disclaimers.

Community guidelines

Be respectful. No hate speech, harassment, threats, or spam.

Do not post real-time exact coordinates of pressured or protected fishing spots. Use the general-area privacy option.

Follow all applicable fishing regulations, size and bag limits, and licensing requirements in your jurisdiction.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.

Intellectual property

Fishability's brand, code, designs, and content (excluding user content) are owned by Fishability and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

User content and license

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Fishability a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the service.

Subscriptions and refunds

Fishability is currently free. If paid tiers are introduced, terms including cancellation and refund policies will be presented before purchase.

Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, or that pose a risk to the service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fishability and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fishability is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
